E aos poucos foi expandindo as atividades tamb\u00e9m para estudantes da educa\u00e7\u00e3o b\u00e1sica, fazendo com que escolas de ensino fundamental e m\u00e9dio trouxessem seus alunos para a UFPA a fim de explicar como funciona a ci\u00eancia na pr\u00e1tica por meio de experimentos produzidos pelo Nastro.Al\u00e9m das visitas agendadas das escolas ao Nastro, outra iniciativa de grande import\u00e2ncia do N\u00facleo de Astronomia da UFPA s\u00e3o as aulas preparat\u00f3rias para as Olimp\u00edadas Brasileiras de Astronomia e Astron\u00e1utica (OBA). A equipe de professores, bolsistas e colaboradores do projeto vai \u00e0s escolas divulgar as olimp\u00edadas e os alunos levam para casa a ficha de inscri\u00e7\u00e3o para conhecimento dos pais, com aulas todos os s\u00e1bados antes do evento.Observa\u00e7\u00f5es astron\u00f4micas regulares, eventos espec\u00edficos do calend\u00e1rio astron\u00f4mico, elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de experimentos, produ\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica entre outras atividades fazem do Nastro uma refer\u00eancia em estudos e conhecimentos na \u00e1rea aqui na regi\u00e3o.
