Ele \u00e9 perito m\u00e9dico legista do Instituto de Medicina Legal do Distrito Federal e atua como professor da Universidade de Bras\u00edlia e na Academia de Pol\u00edcia Civil do Distrito Federal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00c9 a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o dos conhecimentos da antropologia f\u00edsica com a finalidade forense basicamente para a elucida\u00e7\u00e3o de crimes\u201d, esclarece Malthus sobre o termo antropologia forense. O professor tamb\u00e9m esclarece que geralmente utiliza-se os conhecimentos dessa \u00e1rea para identifica\u00e7\u00e3o e para estabelecer a causa e as circunst\u00e2ncias envolvidas na morte de um indiv\u00edduo.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso os pesquisadores da antropologia forense tamb\u00e9m podem trabalhar na identifica\u00e7\u00e3o por meio de fotos, v\u00eddeos ou at\u00e9 mesmo de aspectos f\u00edsicos de suspeitos de crimes em laborat\u00f3rio. \u201cSempre que n\u00f3s vamos utilizar caracter\u00edsticas anat\u00f4micas do ser humano para elucida\u00e7\u00e3o de crimes n\u00f3s estamos falando de antropologia forense\u201d, afirma o professor.<\/p>\n<p>Durante a entrevista, Malthus Galv\u00e3o destaca a grande contribui\u00e7\u00e3o de outros campos do conhecimento, como a
